I collect as little as I can. This page explains what information is involved when you visit madelinelemon.com or buy the ebook, and who handles it.
When you buy the ebook
Checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record for every order. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details so it can take payment, calculate tax, deliver the download and send your receipt. I never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email address, order details and country with me so I can support your purchase. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy covers how it handles your data.
How I use your information
- To deliver the ebook and help with questions about your order.
- To reply when you email me.
- To keep records of sales that the law requires.
I don’t sell your personal information, and I won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
When you visit the site
The site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. If you open the checkout, Lemon Squeezy may set cookies needed for it to work.
How long I keep it
I keep order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, and emails for as long as they’re useful to help you. You can ask me to delete information I hold that I’m not required to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete the personal information held about you, or to object to how it’s used. To make a request, email hello@madelinelemon.com. For payment and checkout data, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy directly.
Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of the page.
